Alateen
Alateen meetings are a branch of Al-Anon meetings. These meetings are for teenagers who have a parent who is addicted to any substance. These meetings are hosted and led by teenagers. An Al-Anon member may sponsor these meetings if asked.
Alateen meetings can help teenagers with an addicted parent deal with their feelings and worries. They will learn that their parent's addiction is not their fault. They are not to blame. They will also learn how to deal with their own worries and how to live a happy and fulfilling life.
