It is quite easy to find alcohol and drug addiction recovery resources in the Cascade, ID area. While some people may find that they need to consider going to a rehab center that offers detox services, that is not the right solution for everyone. There are some people who will feel more comfortable attending Alcoholics Anonymous or Narcotics Anonymous meetings. There are also ways for families to find support through Al-Anon and Alateen.

Our closest treatment program is Northpoint Recovery, which is located in Boise, Idaho. It is only an hour and a half away by car. That makes it convenient enough for our patients to still see their friends and family, but it also gives them enough privacy.
As we mentioned earlier, some people do very well with AA and NA meetings. They are able to get the support they need from their peers to quit using and remain abstinent long-term. But, they may not be right for everyone; especially those who are new to recovery.
In addition, there are some types of addictions that require both detox and rehab for a safe recovery. Alcoholism is just one example. Going through alcohol detox is a critical part of the healing process because it helps to protect people against possible complications. There are several other types of substance abuse problems that carry the same recovery requirements.
There is no reason for you to put off your recovery any longer. Perhaps you have been putting it off because you simply did not know where to turn. This is much more common than most people realize.
