I am happy to announce that our next lecture at Ashwood Recovery, 7941 West Rifleman, will be on March 10, 2016 from 12:00 P.M. -1:00 P.M. Our guest speaker will be John Southworth, CADC, with Southworth  and Associates, a firm which provides interventions, consulting and monitoring to those suffering with the disease of addiction. John will be speaking on “Seamless Continuum of Care”. By attending this lecture you will understand how filling the voids of recovery leads to the best outcomes.

John Southworth has had his own personal battle with addiction, he has learned there is not a cure for the disease and that without the appropriate education and steps to recovery, it can be fatal. John provides trainings on drug abuse and awareness for school employees, local agencies and groups of health care professionals. He is a national speaker at major conferences and events in the addiction field. He along with other interventionists provide trainings for other individuals aspiring to be interventionists or those wanting to further develop their intervention skills. John also believes in the importance of credentialing and in adhering to the standards and rules of those credentialing bodies. John is certified as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor through the state of Idaho as well as through the National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors as a Nationally Certified Addiction Counselor level 1. John has been able to build and maintain a comprehensive network of services throughout the world, and is able to provide assistance at a moments notice.
