Several of their meetings take place at the same time every day, but there are additional options as well. This might be a good fit for someone who wants to try a meeting before attending in person. What are Al-Anon and Alateen?

Al-Anon is an organization that offers support and help to the families of alcoholics and addicts. They also hold weekly meetings where loved ones can come and talk with others who understand their situations.

Alateen is a part of Al-Anon, but it is only for young people. Teenagers, young adults, and at times, older children can come to these weekly meetings and get the support they need.

Attending a Grants Pass Al-Anon meeting can be so helpful for the families of addicts and alcoholics. There are several taking place all week long.

Choosing Northpoint Recovery for Addiction Treatment

Not everyone will benefit by attending a 12-Step group by itself. There are those who need professional help through an inpatient treatment program like Northpoint Recovery.

We offer an excellent drug and alcohol rehab program that can address every part of the individual’s addiction. Our detox services will treat the physical aspect, and we offer counseling to treat the psychological aspect. Both are usually necessary for anyone who wants to recover.

More often than not, professional treatment needs to be the first step a person takes when they want to stop using. This is something to keep in mind as you search for the right recovery method for you.

Northpoint Recovery is located about eight and a half hours away from Grants Pass by car. We are less than a three and a half hour flight away as well. However, we do have Washington State facilities for those looking to stay closer to home.

Is it Possible to go to a Rehab Program Online?

We live in a world that is filled with the latest technology. It makes sense that people would want to know if it were possible to go to rehab online, and the answer is yes.

Many rehabilitation programs have added online options, which can be beneficial for a number of reasons. Some people are unable to take off from work to commit to a 28-day program. Others may have other responsibilities or obligations that make it necessary for them to find online recovery options.

Online rehab offers people the option to get the treatment they need from the comfort of their own homes. Patients can access their therapist this way, as well as attend group therapy meetings.

At Northpoint Recovery, we offer rehabilitation services online for any patient who is appropriate for them. This service may not be readily accessible to those who need to go through detoxification first. That type of treatment should only be accessed through an inpatient program.

Covering the Cost of Addiction Treatment

For many people, the cost of rehab is what keeps them from even obtaining more information about their options. A lot of people assume that professional treatment would have to be paid for out of pocket, which is not the case at all.

Health insurance companies are required by the Affordable Care Act to provide benefits for addiction treatment to their customers. This includes both detox and rehabilitation services. Anyone who does not have health insurance is encouraged to visit HealthCare.gov to get more information about available policies.

At Northpoint Recovery, we are in-network with many of the top insurance providers in Idaho. This allows us to easily verify our patients’ insurance and maximize their benefits. As a result, our patients often end up paying very little out of pocket to get the treatment they need.

Additional Options for Paying for Rehab

Of course, not everyone can afford to have health insurance. These individuals still need to know that there are options available to them. For example, SAMHSA offers grants to those who meet their qualifications. Those grants cover addiction treatment in full.

A little creativity may be needed in order to get the funding that is necessary to attend rehab. For instance:

  • People may want to consider starting an online funding page to ask their friends and loved ones to contribute to their rehab costs.
  • People can talk with relatives about lending them the money they need for treatment.
  • Many addiction treatment centers provide in-house financing, or they may work with outside rehab financing companies.
  • The local Department of Social Services may have programs that help people get into rehab cost-free.
  • People may want to consider charging their rehab stay to a credit card, or taking out a personal loan to cover the costs.

At Northpoint Recovery, we are committed to helping people get the treatment they need. Talk with us to discuss possible options.

How to Get More Information on Addiction Recovery Resources in the Grants Pass Area

Recovering from an addiction to drugs or alcohol can be quite a challenge. Some people find that they also suffer from co-occurring disorders, which can easily contribute to substance abuse problems. These conditions need to be treated; otherwise, the use of substances is very likely to continue.

At Northpoint Recovery, we are careful to design a treatment plan that is specific for all of our patients. We understand the importance of treating individuals based on their needs, and not on what we think might work for an entire group. This is just one of the things that makes our program different.

But it is important to note that treatment is not the right approach for everyone. There are those who will do very well with a 12-Step group like AA or NA. There are also other resources that may be available within the Grants Pass community. We can help you find them so that you get the type of help that is right for you.
