Northpoint Recovery Expands Access to Adult Mental Health Care with New Idaho Facility
BOISE — Northpoint Recovery is now booking assessments for Northpoint Boise, a new outpatient mental health facility opening March 2 in the Treasure Valley. This move comes months after the company celebrated its 10-year anniversary for inpatient services in Idaho.
Northpoint Boise, located on Barnes Drive in the state’s capital city, will provide in-person and hybrid outpatient treatment for adults 18+ who experience conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and mood disorders. Additionally, as part of this expansion, Ashwood – the company’s first Boise location – will transition into Northpoint Boise for substance use services. With this change, the company will operate two Northpoint Boise locations, one dedicated to outpatient mental health treatment and the other focused on outpatient substance use disorder care.
“When looking at Idaho’s behavioral health needs, we knew it was time for Northpoint to offer a primary mental health track for adults,” says CEO Stokes Aitken. “This expansion allows us to meet people where they are and offer specialized care for both mental health and substance use challenges.”
According to a 2025 survey from the National Alliance on Mental Illness, roughly 402,000 Idaho adults reported having a mental health condition. Clients of Northpoint Boise’s mental health facility will receive personalized treatment plans with weekly opportunities for individual, group, and holistic therapies provided by expert staff.
