Northpoint Recovery Welcomes Katherine “Kat” Holbrook, LCSW, as Clinical Director

Katherine “Kat” Holbrook, LCSW, was recently tapped to serve as the Clinical Director for Northpoint Recovery. Holbrook is a seasoned social worker with an impressive 20 years of experience in healthcare and social services. Her official start date was February 27th.

Holbrook comes to Northpoint Recovery from Optum Health, where she served as Care Advocate Manager. In this position, she played a pivotal role in developing policies and procedures for reviewing requests for prior authorization for the company’s inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization (PHP), and intensive outpatient (IOP) programs.

Holbrook’s background also includes leading teams and programs focused on developmental disability and suicide prevention. She has also served as a subject matter expert on statewide addiction funding and level-of-care guidelines. In addition, she boasts a tenure as the Admissions Director at Intermountain Hospital, where she gained firsthand knowledge of the demands of a 24/7 facility.

In her role as Clinical Director, Holbrook oversees Northpoint’s dedicated team of Counselors and Recovery Techs. She also works closely with the inpatient facility’s nurses to streamline day-to-day operations within the facility. She reports to Anthony Rodebush, FACHE, Executive Director at Northpoint Recovery.
