Outpatient Addiction Treatment FAQs
What’s the difference between outpatient and inpatient treatment?
Inpatient treatment is full-time care in a residential setting, while outpatient treatment allows you to live at home and attend scheduled sessions throughout the week. Outpatient care gives you structure and support while staying connected to everyday life.
How often will I need to attend sessions?
Most outpatient programs involve multiple sessions per week, which may include individual and group therapy. We’ll work with your schedule to create a plan that fits your needs while balancing work, school, or family responsibilities.
How long is outpatient treatment?
The length of outpatient treatment depends on your goals and progress. Many people stay in care for several weeks to a few months. We’ll regularly check in to adjust your plan as needed.
Do you offer mental health support too?
Yes. Our outpatient programs include support for co-occurring mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, or trauma. We treat the full picture — not just the substance use.
What other addiction programs do you offer?
In addition to outpatient care, we offer inpatient treatment and virtual outpatient programs. Your care team can help you decide which level of support is the best fit for your needs.
Do you offer support once I complete treatment?
Yes. We provide aftercare planning and regular check-ins for the first 12 weeks after discharge. Every person who completes treatment is also invited to join our free, lifelong alumni program.
Will insurance cover outpatient addiction treatment?
We work with many major insurance providers, and coverage often includes outpatient care. You can verify your benefits quickly and confidentially here.
