Mountlake Terrace, WA Addiction Resource Guide
Mountlake Terrace is a small, but growing suburban city in Snohomish County. It’s located near Shoreline and Lynnwood. It’s close to Mount Baker, and many beautiful trails and campsites.
Despite being a suburban and fairly small city, Mountlake Terrace, Washington still struggles with its own drug and alcohol addiction epidemic. This is because substance abuse is a fairly huge problem in this county.

If you or someone that you know is struggling with a drug abuse problem, it’s time to get the help that you need as soon as possible. Don’t let the addiction fester and worsen. Fortunately, there are plenty of addiction resources for all types of drugs in Mountlake Terrace, WA.

Drug Detox and Rehab Facilities
Get professional alcohol and drug detox and rehab treatment for a better shot at recovery. Professional treatment will start off with a detox service to help remove all toxins and metabolites from your body. Detox will ease withdrawal symptoms for a more comfortable recovery.

Once detox is complete, patients will move on to other parts of their addiction treatment program. This often includes behavioral therapy, counseling, independent living classes and more.
When choosing a detox and rehab facility, you have several levels of care to choose from. They include:
- Inpatient treatment programs. This level of care is the most intense. Drug and alcohol abusers will move into a rehab facility for anywhere from 28 to 90 days. They do not leave until they have completed their program. This type of treatment is most ideal for those struggling with an addiction or for those who are likely to experience dangerous withdrawal symptoms.
- Outpatient treatment programs. This includes anything from partial hospitalization programs (PHPs), which require a commitment of at least 5 days of therapy a week, to intensive outpatient programs (IOPs), which require a commitment of at least 9 hours of therapy a week. Substance abusers only go to the rehab facility when they need treatment. This level of care offers a lot more freedom and flexibility.

Unfortunately, there are no inpatient treatment programs and no outpatient treatment programs in Mountlake Terrace at this time. If you’re interested in finding treatment near you, you’d have to expand your options to nearby cities.
