Centralia, WA Area Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Resource Guide

This drug and alcohol addiction recovery resource guide for the Centralia, Washington area can be so helpful. For those with substance abuse problems, their situations often seem hopeless. They know they need to do something to recover, but they are not sure where to turn for assistance. Sadly, so many people either continue using, or they attempt to quit on their own. When they do, they put themselves at risk for a relapse and/or an overdose.

The Centralia area offers a lot of assistance in the form of Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, Narcotics Anonymous meetings and more. Drug and alcohol treatment is available, and families can get assistance through Al-Anon and Alateen.

We would like to provide these resources for those who need them. Please note that we are not affiliated with any of the organizations listed below.

Centralia Resource Profile

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous was founded about 20 years after AA got its start. Originally, the goal was to provide a way to help drug addicts stop using. NA has really developed over the years into an organization that helps people with any type of addiction.

NA meetings are usually held weekly, and members are encouraged to share their stories. Like AA, there is no charge for attending meetings or for becoming a member.

The Centralia area offers many NA meetings taking place all week long.

Al-Anon and Alateen Information

Families often struggle incredibly when someone they love is an addict. They may spend all of their time, money and other resources trying to keep that person safe. They could also be inadvertently enabling the addict to continue using. Al-Anon provides them with a safe space to share about their experiences and get support.

Alateen is a part of the Al-Anon organization. They only difference is that they cater to the needs of young people. Teenagers, young adults and older children are welcome to attend these weekly meetings and get support from their peers.

There are two Al-Anon meetings every week in the Centralia area.
