Centralia Resource Profile

Narcotics Anonymous

Narcotics Anonymous was founded about 20 years after AA got its start. Originally, the goal was to provide a way to help drug addicts stop using. NA has really developed over the years into an organization that helps people with any type of addiction.

NA meetings are usually held weekly, and members are encouraged to share their stories. Like AA, there is no charge for attending meetings or for becoming a member.

The Centralia area offers many NA meetings taking place all week long.

Al-Anon and Alateen Information

Families often struggle incredibly when someone they love is an addict. They may spend all of their time, money and other resources trying to keep that person safe. They could also be inadvertently enabling the addict to continue using. Al-Anon provides them with a safe space to share about their experiences and get support.

Alateen is a part of the Al-Anon organization. They only difference is that they cater to the needs of young people. Teenagers, young adults and older children are welcome to attend these weekly meetings and get support from their peers.

There are two Al-Anon meetings every week in the Centralia area.
