Tualatin Resource Profile

What is Alcoholics Anonymous?

Alcoholics Anonymous was founded in 1935. The two men who started the organization saw a desperate need for peer therapy in alcoholism recovery. Both of them wanted to stop drinking, and they believed that this model would help. They were right.

AA has assisted millions of alcoholics all over the world. Like NA, it is also free to attend AA meetings.

There are several Tualatin area AA meetings being held throughout the week.
