Detox and Rehab: Taking Addiction Support to the Next Level

Twelve Step groups like AA and NA are very helpful for some people. However, many addicts need more intensive support to get sober.

That’s why drug and alcohol treatment centers exist. They offer detox services and drug rehab programs that help addicts transition from addiction to sobriety.

There are many detox programs near Hansen. These facilities help addicts through the notorious withdrawal stage of recovery. Without the help that professional detox programs offer, most addicts suffer through painful withdrawal symptoms.

In a detox program, however, addicts have access to doctors who make the process more comfortable. These doctors provide anti-addiction medications that ease the addict’s withdrawal pain. They also monitor the addict throughout the entire process to ensure that they’re safe.
